An Oxford technology business achieved its best ever year-on-year revenue growth in 2024.
Seaglass, which provides key technology to energy and utility company across the UK, ended 2024 with a 45 per cent increase in revenue.
The company attributes this success to new clients, including energy supplier 100Green, and the development of new products for existing clients.
With offices in central Oxford, Seaglass now employs 12 technology and utility experts and plans to expand its team in the coming months.
Daniel Maitland, managing director of Seaglass, said: “We’ve been demonstrating steady growth since we first entered the market, but 2024 was a great year for the business, as more and more UK energy retailers looked to us to provide the right technology systems for their business.
“We now support over five utilities across the UK and Ireland and are looking to continue our growth in 2025.
“We’ve got big ambitions for the future.”
The company was launched in 2017 by a team of utility experts who have worked together in the energy industry for more than 20 years.
They identified a market gap for billing and back-end systems for utility companies, with the ability to tailor the product for the specific needs of niche energy suppliers.
Its team of experts allows it to work closely with businesses to support them through the complexities of entering the UK energy market.
