The serverless cloud architecture allows the processing to scale horizontally as required giving almost limitless processing power. The system has been designed from the bottom up with smart in mind using cloud big data tools to store and process the large volumes of data.

All system functions which are available through the front end are also exposed through a RESTFul API allowing suppliers to expose functionality through portals or mobile applications or to interface into their own applications.

The serverless architecture means that processing and data are distributed across multiple data centres to eliminate points of failure.
